How You Can Help

Combating religious discrimination is important for a society to be truly free.
Most people would help fight discrimination if they only knew what to do.
Here are a couple of ways in which you can help:

First: Support This film

This program addresses the discrimination that members of the Wiccan faith experience as part of their daily lives and educates people about the importance of tolerance toward all religions. This important documentary comes at a time when the religious and political leaders are re-examining their policies towartd nature religions, such as Wicca, and whether these religions should be accepted. "A Hero Denied" helps illuminate the role that the Wiccan faith has in the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, why it is important that it be treated with the same respect as all other world religions, and how religious discrimination affects everyone.

I am asking for your help. Please support this film project with a tax-deductible contribution. Your contribution can be anonymous or you can have your name added to our list of contributors. Thank you very much for your support.

Second: Educate Yourself

There is an old saying that we fear what we do not understand. This is especially true when it comes to religious discrimination. So much of the hostility and intolerance that we see all around us is merely an artifact of misunderstanding and ignorance. By educating ourselves about the philosophies and practices of other world religions, we find that we all have much more in common than we have differences. By engaging in the lives of those who think differently than we do, we are able to deepen our understanding of the world and to facilitate respectful and meaningful discourse among the members of our society.

Below is a list of web sites that serve as clearinghouses of information about religious tolerance. I encourage everyone to spend some time on these sites to learn about different faiths and the human carnage that lies in the wake of religious intolerance.
